What this site is and is not

Prepared for a university assignment

This website was prepared as part of a university group project in global health project management. While it is based on real facts and published sources, the organisation, people, contact details and project are not real. It is not an official site of the Government of Sri Lanka, the Ministry of Health or DFAT.

About this website

Kushalam (HPV Track Nuwara Eliya) is a proposed pilot, prepared as a simulated funding proposal to the Australian Government's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) for a university assignment. No funding application has been submitted. Dates, numbers of estates, targets and budget figures are planned, and may change. Naming a government body, company, union or other organisation on this site does not mean it has agreed to take part, unless an agreement has been signed.

Not medical advice

The health information on this site is general and for awareness only. It does not replace advice from a doctor, Public Health Midwife or other qualified health worker. If you have symptoms such as bleeding after sex, between periods or after menopause, or unusual discharge, see a health worker as soon as possible. A negative HPV result means a low chance of developing cervical cancer in the next few years; it does not rule out every risk.

Figures and sources

Statistics come from the published sources on the References page, as of November 2026. Some figures come from different sources and years, and some measure different things. The impact dashboard shows illustrative projections, not results.
